ROCKY

We have had the pleasure of meeting and working with Louise this past year after bringing home our new best friend “Rocky”.  Louise’s training services were highly recommended to us by our veterinarian in Richmond Hill.  We were told Louise was “the best”, and we agree.  Louise’s professionalism, wealth of knowledge and gentle nature put Rocky and our whole family at ease as we “learned together”.   We instantly learned the basic commands, did our practise for homework and were praised by Louise upon her next visit.  Louise spent much time with us on the phone whenever we had questions, and is still checking in on Rocky to this day.  We can call Louise when we have any questions or concerns and know we will get a well thought-out answer and advice.

Thank you Louise!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed being trained by Louise Gorssline, and the dogs learned something too!  Louise has a keen ability with animals, and from the very first moments she was able to command control, respect and very good behaviour from our two newly acquired rescue/adoption dogs, .

She was able to transfer this ability to our whole family (the kids too!) such that we were able to have our dogs responding to our directions very quickly.  What we really valued about Louise’s approach is that we were able to train as a family and in the familiarity of our home.  This ensured our pets learned to take commands from everyone of us and within our own household which is where we spend the majority of time with them.

I would recommend Louise to anyone who wants to have a positive, successful experience learning how to ensure pleasurable dog ownership/companionship.

OSLO

We first got our puppy in August 2008.

We were expecting a calm puppy  who would play but would also know when to stop. After a while when the puppy Oslo got to know us better he thought he was the ruler of our house.  We knew we would have to potty train him but jumping on the table, biting our guest’s, eating from the garbage and lots more we were not expecting at all. We thought we could train him but he was too rambunctious.

We asked our breeder Marie for help. We decided to get a trainer.  She suggested to call Louise.  So we called Louise, we had a few lessons and now our puppy is absolutely amazing! He listens to us and he is now a part of the family. Thank you so much Louise for all your hard work!

Sincerely,

Nava

LILY

When we needed help addressing a number of behavioral issues with our new rescue dog, our Veterinarian recommended Louise Gorssline; this recommendation turned out to be just what we needed.

Louise came to our home and immediately established an excellent rapport with our dog Lily. Louise was quickly able to get Lily to respond to her verbal and visual commands and we were then coached on how to do the same with Lily.  We learned and practiced something new every week. Today, Lily is doing well and we are happy with her progress.

In our dealings with Louise, we found her to be very knowledgeable, patient, professional and courteous. Having Louise work with us in our own home was a great benefit as it allowed us to learn and practice techniques in an environment familiar to and non threatening for Lily.

For results you will be happy with, we would strongly recommend Louise to anyone looking for a personal in home trainer.

We had acquired two Westies and were experiencing some behavioral issues. Louise Gorssline was recommended to us by a family member and thought it would be a good idea to get her help.

Louise came into our home and started by getting to know the two dogs and their behaviours and needs.  She then came up with a plan of action and incorporated it into the dogs and our lives.

With a different lesson every week, plus a little homework, the dogs (as well as us) are enjoying each others company.

We now have two well behaved and well trained little girls.

Thanks Louise
